Delete your data.
Your account belongs to you. You can have everything we hold about you removed at any time — by yourself from inside the product, or by asking us. This page explains both routes and what gets deleted.
What “your data” means here.
When you create a ForMe account we store a small set of fields tied to you:
- The identity returned by your sign-in provider (Google or Facebook) — your email address, first and last name, and profile image URL.
- Your programme choice (e.g. Physicians Exam, Australian Secondary School Practice), the year level or exam stage you picked, and the billing tier you selected.
- For child profiles set up by a parent: the child’s first name, age band (month and year of birth — never the day), an avatar, and a parent-set secret word + PIN used to log in.
- A history of your practice activity — sessions, attempts, answers, and the readiness signals derived from them.
We do not sell this data. It powers the practice product, and nothing else.
Delete your account from inside ForMe.
- Sign in at /login with the Google or Facebook account you originally used.
- Go to your hub at /hub.
- Choose Delete my account — confirm when prompted.
The self-service control is being rolled out alongside the new hub design. While that lands, please use the email route below — it reaches a real person.
Or ask us to delete it for you.
Email privacy@janison.com.au from the address you signed up with. Include the line:
Subject: ForMe account deletion request Please delete my ForMe account and all data linked to it. Email on the account: <your sign-in email>
Sending the request from the same email address that’s on the account is how we confirm it’s really you. If you can no longer access that inbox, reply with any other proof of ownership you have and we’ll work it out.
What happens after you ask.
- We acknowledge your request within two business days.
- Your account, profile records, and practice history are deleted from production within thirty days. Most accounts are fully removed in less than a week — the longer window is to cover edge cases (mid-billing-cycle, ongoing support requests).
- Encrypted backups are retained for a further ninety days for disaster recovery, and then rolled off. Deleted records cannot be restored from those backups except where law requires.
- We may keep the bare minimum needed to satisfy a legal obligation (e.g. financial records of a paid subscription). Anything kept is documented in our broader privacy policy.
Parents asking on behalf of a child.
If you set up ForMe for your child, you can request deletion of their profile from your own hub or by emailing us. We’ll verify you’re the parent on the account before deleting any child profile linked to it.
If you only used the practice app.
ForMe (this site) and Practice (the practice product itself) share a single account. A deletion request through either route removes your data from both — you only need to ask once. The same instructions live at app.practice.janison.ai/user-data-delete.
ForMe is operated by Janison Solutions Pty Ltd. For broader privacy questions — what we collect, how we use it, who else processes it on our behalf — see our privacy policy.
